Learn techniques to change your life

Mindful Movement

We will look at some Mindful Movement Exercises. There will be a simple but effective 'Body Wash', some light exercises  developed from the ancient art of Chi-Kung; and some walking meditation to help take your practice into the world.

Formal Practices

You will learn three formal sitting practices designed to create awareness of the body, heart and mind; develop calm and concentration; and positive emotion to yourself and others.

Real-life Skills

We will look at exercises that can be performed anytime, anywhere - whether at work or in the bath. These exercises will bring us back to the present moment, creating a sense of peace and calm from which to move forward.

Sagara has been practising Mindfulness over 23 years. He was ordained into Triratna Buddhist Order in 1999.

He now spends his time delivering mindfulness training in various settings in the north east - working mainly in mental health.
